I was born in Downey California in 1963, and what really inspired me to start writing was the movie by Rob Zombie, ‘Devils Reject’s’ I could really relate to that movie, being raised in a very dysfunctional family where drug and alcohol abuse was rampant, and condoned from the age of 9. My mother was a dancer in a Go-Go club in Downey CA when she was accosted after her shift by three circus clowns. She became pregnant by one of them and I was born. So I am an honest-to-Goodness Rape-Baby from a clown. So naturally I am compelled to dwell on them, and eventually, after being abandoned at age 14 (I came home from work and my mom had moved out with her new boyfriend and emptied the house of everything except my bedroom stuff) I have been on my own since. I have struggled through countless drug addictions, years of alcoholism, lengthy prison terms and multiple jail sentences, and lived through deadly car accidents and a major explosion and other mishaps that almost claimed my life. At the age of 54, I finally decided that I wasn’t due many more chances and the next accident may be my last. So I sobered up (been sober since June 10th 2017) and started changing my life for the better. I started writing my life story, which turned into my very first novel, ‘Pringles the Party Clown \u0026amp; Friends’. I changed a few things to not incriminate myself (too badly) and utilized my extensive arsenal of disturbing humor and quirky come-backs. I am currently working on the prequel to Pringles, and also have my other book, ‘Spider Island’ complete.\n\nI studied at DeVry University for two years to obtain my bachelor’s degree in telecommunications, but was forced to resign to seek tutoring for algebra. I maintained a 4.0 for two trimesters and was on the Dean’s List for the entirety of my schooling. I was forced to take a math class and that dropped my GPA and I decided to quit and eventually come back, which I never did because life took over. I was saddled with over $65,000.00 in debt and after years of struggles paid it off. I am now seeking a degree in Mental Health Services as well as sustaining my love for writing.\n\nI seem to sway toward the more graphic and disturbing. My sense of humor I attribute to my mother’s drug and alcohol abuse she suffered the entire term she was pregnant with me, that and the natural clown blood can sometimes lead to some pretty bizarre stories. I plan on continuing with my writing and will complete more novels in the future.\n
